Bulgaria is a situated in the southeast of Europe. It borders the Black Sea to the east, Greece and Turkey to the south, Serbia and Montenegro and the Repuplic of Macedonia to the west and Romania to the north along the river Danube.

Bulgaria offers between 2200 and 2500 hours of sunlight a year with an average temperature of above 23 degrees Celsius during the Summer months and an average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius a year.
Northern Bulgaria’s climate is moderate continental whereas Southern Bulgaria is intermediate continental to Mediterranean however regional variations occur within the country due to its mountainous areas.
