I trained as a bi-lingual secretary in French & German (with a smattering of Spanish), after which followed a 6 year slot abroad in France, Belgium and Italy working for companies such as ITT, EMI, Bahlsen Biscuits and the European Broadcasting Union.
In 1995 I joined Bob to help with the accounts and now of course, the rest is history.
Brand New Homes UK was just a concept in 2000, but now has a burgeoning product range, from on-line listing to Full Agency and Marketing Consultancy.
I love the business - its challenges, excitement, and growth. Dealing with property is always a pleasure, from sourcing the land to being involved with Interior Designers. It's also difficult not to live and breathe the company 24 hours a day when you're involved in a family business, but I still manage to find time to play tennis, have a reasonable golf handicap, and learn Spanish.
Julie-Ann Healy
Project Manager
After graduating with a degree in Economics and Public Media I spent happy years with companies like BPB Industries, Touche Ross and Identex.
In 2002 inspired by the concept of buying new homes on-line, I joined Land & Brand New Homes as part of the marketing team. My role within this sector has focussed on both corporate and client facing responsibilities. Internally I have played a key role in formulating and implementing strategic and tactical marketing plans. These have involved internal and external communication, customer retention and acquisition, and building brand awareness through a myriad of marketing activity including PR, radio, cinema, exhibitions and direct mail campaigns.
On the client facing side, I have implemented integrated marketing campaigns for property developers including development launches and on-going media campaigns. This activity has included all aspects of the marketing mix, liasing with external agencies, reporting and analysis, and working to agreed budgets and timescales.
My interests include my family, walking, swimming, food and wine and travel.
Nicki Keeley
On-line Marketing Executive/Key Account Manager
My background is in the financial service industry, having spent many years in a variety of roles in pension administration. I also enjoyed being a PA in the IFA Department at MGM Assurance, where I was responsible for the coordination of many aspects of Sales & Marketing for the IFA team.
I have been with the Land & Brand New Homes team for over two years. My initial role was Sales & Marketing Coordinator and subsequently Key Account Manager. I am committed to having a key role in promoting our business and in turn, providing a dedicated and professional service to all of our clients.
I was asked to take the on-line marketing position, which has been a very rewarding challenge. The highlight was being involved in the launch of our brand new website!
My interests include music, travel, the gym (when I can get motivated) and supporting Portsmouth FC. I have two ginger cats, who are spoilt rotten!
Jane Heselwood
Financial Controller
Prior to joining the company, I was employed for several years in the 'homes abroad' marketplace, which combined with my previous experience in the construction industry has given me a head start in my position with Land & Brand New Homes. I personally have experience in buying property for refurbishment and for letting purposes, so have always had a keen interest in the property market.
I have worked in the accounting field since leaving school and when my own children became more able to look after themselves, I decided it was time to go back to college to gain the relevant qualifications to prove my abilities. Following this I formed a business partnership working on small company accounts and also setting up computerised accounting systems and training new users.
I have a love of the countryside and of keeping fit, so in my spare time I walk a great deal with my dog. I also love my garden but most of all I love to travel.
Jane Gaughan
Market Research Analyst
I've had a long and distinguished career as a Domestic Engineer during which time I went to college and then to University as a Student Mental Health Nurse. Unfortunately, I had to leave as my son was diagnosed with Severe Specific Learning Difficulties.
I later returned to college to learn to turn on a computer and to retake all my secretarial qualifications, which I'd previously taken on a manual typewriter! I qualified in 2000 as an Executive Assistant.
I then worked as an EA at Executive Director level for the NHS, where I obtained a huge amount of experience working as part of a team in an exceedingly high pressure position.
After leaving I decided to branch out and develop my skills further and obtained a position in local government as PA to the Head of Planning. I find the planning system fascinating and with the current focus on reform, I consider this to be a particularly exciting time to be involved in the process.
Alyson Rayner
Sales Consultant
Alyson is currently working at the Sales Office in Partridge Green, near Horsham, West Sussex, selling brand new homes at the Church View development.
She has many years of experience within the property industry and has worked for local Estate Agents for the last 11 years.
In her spare time, Alyson enjoys fine dining!
