Renewed contract negotiations bring success to owners

Land & Brand New Homes was asked to advise four owners where they had been approached by a developer to demolish four substantial houses and replace them with a comprehensive scheme of town houses and apartments.

The contract was so heavily weighed in favour of the developer, Land & Brand New Homes’ advice was to reconsider their situation and to only progress forward with a developer who would proceed with planning on the site in a professional manner under a contract that was mutually beneficial.

Once offers had been prepared for the site, the owners decided to accept the third highest offer, as this offer had been fully investigated and was attached to a scheme that Land & Brand New Homes thought was achievable within the tight time constraints the vendors wished to impose on the developer.
